This photograph is part of an ongoing series entitled ‘Surface’ which explores the patterns created by the harmonious interaction of colored liquids as they mix and blend under my camera.

With all reference to scale removed, the intention is to intrigue the viewer with the impression that these images could exist on a vastly larger scale, such as photographs of the earth from space, or infinitely smaller, such as medical microscopy.
