Lasergrams / November / Online Class
$200.00 per person
Held in the hand the laser becomes a drawing tool that can capture incredibly subtle motions in three dimensions.
Through reflection and refraction of the laser beam we will create complex interference patterns that are not only beautiful but reveal the wave-like nature of light itself.
Using simple household materials, safe darkroom chemicals and inexpensive low-power laser pointers, we'll guide you through the numerous possibilities of this technique and undoubtedly discover some new ones together.
This class will be hosted by alternative process expert and all-round mad-scientist David Janesko.
Students supply their own photo paper and chemicals, which are freely available.
All levels of experience welcome.
No previous experience is necessary. You will need a digital SLR camera, one or two simple accessories and connect to the class via Zoom.
Class Duration: Four weeks / 2 hour sessions
