Printing from Film, the new 4-week black and white printing class at The School of Light will introduce you to the art of printing black and white photographs in the classic method in our state of the art darkroom.

Working from their own negatives, and with hands on instruction from School of Light founder, and 30-year darkroom expert Andrew Hall, students will be encouraged to experiment with papers, finishes and sizes that push their creativity in new directions.

Whether you are an experienced film photographer or maybe you just want to print those negatives you found in the attic, then this is where you need to be.

All darkroom materials, paper, equipment and chemicals will be provided. Students need to bring their own, ready to print negatives of either 35mm or 120 format.
