Shooting much larger original negatives than hand-held cameras, large format cameras have long been the choice for studio, fine art and landscape photographers alike, allowing images of incredible sharpness and detail, unsurpassed by even the most expensive digital cameras.

During this 6-week course, students will gain practical experience of working with our newly acquired range of 6x9cm and 5x4” cameras on location in the beautiful landscape of Southern California.

Backed up by our expanded darkroom, you’ll learn how to get the best from your negatives and make truly stunning black and white prints to treasure forever.

All camera equipment, film, transportation to location and darkroom materials will be supplied.
