One of the best things about living in Los Angeles is how beautiful the surrounding landscape is, with a stunning variety of photographic locations within easy reach.

After an introductory midweek session at The School of Light, including an appreciation of the work of some of the masters of the landscape genre, the group will travel together to an inspiring location to shoot for a full day on the following Saturday.

The remaining sessions we will be processing and printing our shots in the School of Light’s spacious, state of the art darkroom in downtown LA, with hands-on, individual instruction to help you get the best from your shots.

This class is for all levels and offers the committed film photographer the chance to realize their vision, from initial photograph, through to final, hand-crafted black and white print. All the while working with a small group of like-minded enthusiasts, with all transportation, and darkroom materials included in the price.

Class #2 is a Field Trip on Saturday, November 4th.

No Class Thanksgiving Thursday, November 23rd.
