Before factory-produced photographic materials, photographers combined the skills of chemist, painter and artist to make their own light-sensitive printing papers.

Bring your favorite film negatives and learn how to enlarge them ready to make striking Cyanotype prints in rich shades of blue, and ethereal Salt Prints on fine art paper you have coated yourself in a fully analog work flow.

Handling a variety of materials, you’ll love the organic feel of these classically beautiful printing processes.

Working in our superb darkroom facilities, including custom built UV exposure unit, and knowledgeable instruction ensure you get consistent results and beautiful, hand-crafted prints that you’ll want to frame and show.

All darkroom chemicals, materials and a selection of textured papers will be supplied.

Just bring your own black and white film negatives.
