Shooting much larger original negatives than hand-held cameras, the 4 x 5” view camera has long been the choice for studio, fine art and landscape photographers alike, allowing images of incredible sharpness and detail, unsurpassed by even the most expensive digital cameras.

During this 6-week course, students will gain practical experience of working with our newly acquired range of beautiful cameras and explore the qualities of different lenses, camera movements and techniques only possible with this format.

Backed up by our expanded darkroom, you’ll learn how to get the best from your negatives and make truly stunning black and white prints that will last a lifetime.

All camera equipment, film and darkroom materials will be supplied.
