This popular online class is born from our love of experimentation. Inspired by the groundbreaking new work by our students and faculty, join us as we push back the boundaries of what is possible with the lumen printing method. 

As we've discovered more ways to work with alternative processes, we want to share more of our techniques for making uniquely beautiful images that combine the principles of cameraless photography with the properties of fluid dynamics. 

Using simple, safe darkroom chemicals and a fresh approach to analog image making, we'll guide you towards getting results full of vibrancy and vigor, which you won't find anywhere else. 

Students supply their own photo paper and chemicals, which we are happy to advise on and are freely available, and connect to the class via Zoom.

No previous experience is necessary.
