Building on our reputation for experimental photography we are excited to offer an expanded version of this online class exploring one of our favourite techniques.
The sheer beauty of crystalline growth has been a fascination for artists and craftsmen throughout history, and this class will continue that tradition by examining the photographic possibilities of these wonderful natural fractals.
We will incorporate some new techniques that we can't wait to share with our amazing students.
Students will be set a series of challenging assignments which encourage them to explore how different materials behave in different ways and how simple household products can be made to create the most wonderful harmonic patterns in an infinite variety.
No previous experience is necessary.
A digital SLR camera is required to capture the intricacy of the crystals, and a macro, or close-up lens is helpful, but not essential.
